The majority of appointments to see our practice nurses are booked in advance.  Currently these appointments are not available for on-line booking.  The nursing team also hold the following clinics by appointment:

  • Asthma Clinic
  • Diabetic Clinic
  • Child Immunisation Clinic
  • Hypertension Clinic
  • Respiratory Clinic

Also available:

  • Flu Vaccination Clinic each year

Family Planning Services

The doctors at the health centre offer a full range of contraceptive services, including coil fitting/removal and Nexplanon implants, please see the link below for information about contraceptive options.

Community Nursing Staff are employed by the Primary Care Trust. They can be contacted directly on 03003 230026.

Health Visitors can be contacted on 0300 3230115.

Two Musculoskeletal Specialists who hold clinics on alternate Tuesdays and Thursdays.

A Physiotherapist holds clinics twice a month on a Wednesday.

A Mental Health Specialist Comes in every Monday afternoon.

A Midwife clinic is held at Creech Medical Centre on our behalf.

Travel Vaccinations

We offer a limited range of travel vaccines at North Curry Health Centre. We can provide some NHS vaccines if needed:

We do not offer private vaccines such as Rabies, Japanese Encephalitis or prescriptions for anti-malarial tablets. You will need to access these from a private travel clinic. You can find information on what is recommended for your holiday at https://www.fitfortravel.nhs.uk/home

Select the destinations tab and search for your destination then scroll down to the immunisations section. It is worth knowing that most travel related illnesses are NOT vaccine preventable, for example dengue fever or travellers’ diarrhoea. There is plenty of advice on the website to help with this such as insect bite avoidance and food and water hygiene.

If you wish to book an appointment for travel vaccinations please contact reception and book an appointment at least 6 weeks before you travel.
