Appointment System

When you call for a doctor’s appointment, you will be asked whether your need is:

URGENT, ACUTE OR ROUTINE

In order to help categorise your appointment, and ensure you see the most appropriate person, the receptionist may ask you if you can share the nature of the problem or issue. Please be assured that this information will be treated confidentially.

Named GP   

If you would like to know who your named Doctor is please ask reception when you next visit the surgery.

Friends and Family Test

The Friends and Family test has recently been added to our website. it is your chance to provide feedback on your experience of the surgery.

Staff Training  

The surgery will be closed for staff training on Thursday 6th July from 1.00 pm until 4.30 pm.

Everyone welcome to join us! We look forward to hearing your comments and suggestions. Please contact reception to find out how to participate.

Repeat Prescriptions

You can now order your repeat prescriptions through the online Prescriptions link. If you wish to register to do so please complete the patient online registration form and bring it along to reception with two forms of ID, one photographic and one proof of address so we can give you the registration information. If you are already registered to use online appointments you do not need to register again.
Gentle Exercises Classes

In association with Age UK, the Health Centre hosts Gentle Exercise Classes on Wed lunchtime 1.30-2.30 pm.  No need to book. Just turn up in comfortable clothing by 1.25 pm.

Practice Management

Mrs Sarah Keen (f)

The Practice Manager is involved in managing all of the business aspects of the practice such as making sure that the right systems are in place to provide a high quality of patient care, human resources, finance, patient safety, premises and equipment and information technology. The practice manager supports the GPs and other medical professionals with delivering patient services and also helps to develop extended services to enhance patient care. 

If you have any concerns about the care you have received or if you any any suggestions relating to improving patient services, please contact the Practice Manager.

Reception

Reception and Administration

We are fortunate to have an efficient and motivated team who are there to help. We all work closely as a team and endeavour to provide an excellent service to our patients. They have a difficult job, dealing with phone calls and enquiries from several directions. When telephoning for medical attention, the receptionists may ask for a few details which are relevant in order to help you in the most appropriate way. Please rest assured that the rules of confidentiality apply equally to all practice staff.

Secretaries

Mrs Clare Morgan (f)

The secretary deals with correspondence relating to patient care, including referrals to hospitals and other agencies.  If you have received documentation relating to your referral and require further advice, please contact the Practice and ask to speak to the secretary.
